Janet and Chris: Succop Nature Park Wedding

Now that the season is slowing down, I am so excited to catch up on sharing the fabulous weddings from the 2017 wedding season.

From the Bride, Janet:

Fun! We knew we wanted an outdoor event, but didn’t want it to be rustic or casual. Both of us wanted it to feel formal and special, but still very comfortable. Lastly, we wanted people to enjoy themselves! A Succop Nature Park Wedding was the perfect choice.

Advice to share with brides planning now?

Start with your budget before you make ANY decisions about vendors/decor/location. Make a list of priorities, and start from the top when budgeting/deciding how much to spend on any given item, and plan for 100% attendance no matter what people tell you… extra money in the end is the payoff!

How did you and your spouse meet?

At Ohio University! (OU Oh Yeah!) It was at a party at his apartment, I was a freshman and he was a senior. We had been hanging out with his room mate for the entire quarter but I hadn’t ever seen him there. One very snowy night he was home while we were all over, told me he liked my hair, we found out we both had the same taste in music, and the rest was history! I think I knew almost immediately that he was supposed to be in my life, I just didn’t know what was yet to come!

What was your favorite memory from your big day?

Besides walking down the aisle and the whole ceremony, it was the moment when all of the guests started arriving. We could see them getting off the shuttles from the house, and it hit me that it was about to actually start! It was all happening! And it all went perfectly!
